Good luck

En kollega går vidare till nya utmaningar och vi önskar henne så klart all lycka till med det nya jobbet. Inspirerad av hösten som närmar sig har jag stämplat löv i en dov, grön färg, och i mellanrummen har jag använt en turkos blå, lika klar som hösthimlen. Jag använde en vattenpensel och plockade upp färg från stämpeldynan och målade sen lite "slarvigt" för att få en akvarellkänsla.

One of my colleagues is leaving for another job, and of course we wish her the best of luck with her new challenges. Inspired by the fall that is just around the corner, I stamped a leaf in a mild green colour, and in between I used a turquoise colour, as clear as the crisp sky. I picked up the ink directly from the ink pad with a waterbrush and tried to create a watercolour impression.

Själva hälsningen är stämplat i svart och embossad vilket ger en fin skillnad i struktur på det annars släta kortet.

The greeting is stamped with black and embossed using a clear powder, this creates a suttle effect with a change of structure in the otherwise flat card.

A baptism

Ett dop

Denna fina etikett hittar man på ett av Reprints klippark. Det var bara att stämpla dit en passande text. Jag faller ofta tillbaka på bakgrundspappret med ränder i lila och grå toner, det hör till en av mina absoluta favoriter. Dessutom är baksidan lika fin!

This nice label can be found on one of the cut-out papers from Reprint. It was easy to add a suitable text. I often fall back to one particular background paper with stripes in purple and gray tones, it belongs to one of my absolute favorites. And the backside of the paper is neat too!

Fjärilen har förhöjts med lite glitter. Genom att mixa spets och pappersremsor får du kortet lite mer intressant med hjälp av olika texturer.

The butterfly has been enhanced with a little glitter. By mixing lace and strips of paper, you get the card a little more interesting by using different textures.

Happy birthday with butterflies

En liten, och snudd på oansenlig, stämpel kan bli alldeles magisk när den stämplas i olika nyanser och många gånger. Här blev det en hel svärm av små fjärilar, alla i olika lila nyanser.

A small, almost inconspicuous, stamp can be absolutely magical when repeated and stamped in different colours. Here I created a swarm of butterflies, all in different shades of lilac.

Grattishälsningen bryter av genom att den stämplats i svart och sedan embossats med genomskinligt pulver. Organzaband och lite bling gör att kortet känns både arbetat och enkelt på samma gång.

The birthday greeting stands out as it is first stamped in black and then embossed using a clear powder. A simple bow made with organza ribbon and some bling makes the card feel designed and clean and simple at the same time.

I've found this old jacke in Military green while moving the closet. Nice one, but I wanted to Spice it up a little and made these cute little Buttons (2,5cm) using some of my favorite reprint paper.

Birthday Banners

Wimpel sind prima. Sie sind so wie Regenbögen oder Glitzer - einfach fröhlich. Darum passen sie auch super zu Geburtstagskarten.Ich habe einige Reststücke von verschiedenen Papieren von Reprint genommen - sie sind einfach zu schön, um die Reste zu entsorgen - und habe Wimpel zurecht geschnitten, welche mit ein wenig glitter tape verschönert wurden. Der Glitzereffekt durch die Perlen und die Glitzersteinchen gibt er Karte twas festliches. Dazu den Schriftzug von Reprint gestempelt und schon hat man eine klasse Geburtstagskarte.

Banners are great. They are like rainbows or sparkles - just joyful. That's why they are perfect for birthday cards. I've taken some scraps from differnt reprint papers, as they are just too pretty to throw away and made some banners and spiced them up with some glitter tape. Adding some sparkle with pearls and rhinestones gives the card a festive touch. Combined with this great "happy birthday" stamp from reprint you've got a great birthday card.

Tree trees

Tre träd

Här är ett kort med tre träd, eller löv, vilket man väljer att se. Två av träden är utklippta, det tredje är inte utklippt och har dessutom en liten mörk ram. Alla tre är fästa med 3D-kuddar. Bakgrunden är till halvvägs täkt med baksidan av ett mönstrat papper och kanten är dold bakom ett smalt satinband i vitt.

Here is a card with three trees, or leaves, which ever you choose to see. Two of the trees are cut out, the third is not cut out and has a little dark frame. All three are attached with 3D foam pads. Half the background is covered with the back of a patterned paper and the edge is hidden behind a narrow satin ribbon in white.

Träden är färglagda med två nyanser av grön tuschpenna. Prickarna i mitten har förhöjts av lite glitterlim.

The trees are colored with two shades of green felt pen. The dots in the center is enhanced with some glitter glue.

Butterfly Wishes

Hallo Ihr Lieben, ich hoffe ihr habt einen schönen Nachmittag bei perfekten Sonnenschein. Die warmen Temperaturen haben mich dazu inspiriert diese niedliche Schmetterling-Karte zu werkeln. Das Motiv ist einer meiner Favoriten aus der aktuellen Kollektion und da der Stempel so hübsch ist lässt er sich wunderbar mit einemHintergrund aus geschichtetem Papier kombinieren.

Hiya, hope you're having a great afternoon enjoying the summer sun. The warm weather inspired me to create this cute butterfly card. The stamp is one of my faves from the latest collestion and as the stamp is so pretty it's perfect to combine with a layered background.

Hier ist der Stempel nochmal als Nahaufnahme zu sehen. Ist er nicht hübsch? Ich habe einen kleinen schwarzen Glitzerstein aus der Reprint Kollektion drauf befestigst um noch etwas extra Glanz auf die Karte zu bringen.

Here's a close up of the butterfly. Isn't it pretty? I've attached a small black rhinstone from the reprint collection to add some extra sparkle.
