3D card in a box

Här får mottagaren en trevlig överraskning - kortet som kan skickas i ett vanligt kuvert viks upp till en tredimensionell ask! Detta kort är en hälsning till en nyfödd, med urklippta dekorationer från Reprints fina papper.

The receiver of this card is in for a little surprise - the card is folded flat on arrival, but can then be unfolded to a three dimensional box! This one is for a newborn, with cutouts from Reprint's new papers as decorations.

Närbild på de sektioner där dekorationerna är fästa. Fjärilarna är först fastlimmade på tunna remsor av OH-film, och sedan fästa på plats. Lite stickles på fjärilarnas vingar passar fint.

Close-up of the middle sections where the decorations are adhered. The butterflies are first adhered to thin strips of acetate, and then fit into the right spot in the middle sections. I also added some stickles on the wings which gives a nice shimmer.

Här ser man hur kortet ser ut när det är ihopvikt. Man får testa innan man fäster dekorationerna att de håller sig "innanför gränserna" om man vill kunna få ner kortet i ett kuvert.

Here's the card folded flat. You have to test-fold the card before adhering the decorations, to make sure they stay within the edges so it can fit into an envelope.
