Match boxes - not only for Christmas

Till jul köpte jag två lite annorlunda tändsticksaskar men det blev aldrig av att jag gjorde något "juligt" med dom.  De har stått här lite bortglömda i ett hörn på pysselbordet men så tänkte jag: Men - tänkte jag - vi använder ju tändstickor året runt så varför inte bara göra en snygg att ha framme i vardagsrummet? 

For Christmas I bought some odd shaped match boxes but I ended up doing nothing "christmassy" with them at all. They´ve been standing here on my craft table in a corner since then but then I thought: Hey . we use matches all the time so why not make something pretty to have in the living room?

Jag klädde in asken i det nya pappret Lovesong. Därefter fäste jag en benvit spets och ett rosa sammetsband på. De söta hundarna i kuvertet är från klipparket Vintage Dogs som jag bigade en liten vikning på och monterade det med 3D-kuddar. Det vackra vintagekortet är även det från ett klippark -   Vintage Postcards. Slutligen dekorerade jag med en massa fina små pappersblommor Paper Florettes.

I covered the box with the new paper Lovesong. Then I mounted some ivory colored lace and a pink velvet ribbon. The cute dogs in the envelope are from the cut-out sheet Vintage Dogs . I bone folded the top of the letter and mounted it with 3D adhesives. The beautiful vintage postcard is also from a cut-out sheet: Vintage Postcards.

Last I decorated it with lots of little pretty paper flowers Paper Florettes.
