Sometimes when we get guests home for dinner, it's fun to do some kind of welcome gift lying on each plate. It gives a little touch of luxury - and it's so fun to do them!
Here is a small box made of a paper from Reprints lovely "kitchen series". The box is made by a template that I found on the Internet. I have inked all folded edges and outer edges.
The plate is stamped with a welcome note, and a stamp with glass was stamped in a light color so it just shows a bit in the background. A few pearls and a few flowers were also glued on.
Inside the box you can see the other side of the paper, which is really the front, I think. But as with any of Reprints paper, both sides just as nice! It´s always difficult to choose, but it is a dear trouble =)
Tack för idag! Kram, DT-Liza

Cardmaking
Hiya everyone,
today I am showing you a simple card which I've created last night. It's made out of kraftpaper and topped with several design papers by Reprint. The image can be found on one of the A4 papers and it's just perfect as a card topper. Make sure to check out the A4 papers as they have all sort of themes such as vacations, brands and many more. I also added the great rose stamp as I wanted the card to look more playful. Let me know what you think...

Twinkle Twinkle little star...
Good afternoon everyone,
it still feel like winter and it's so cold in Germany these days. That is why I have decided to lighten up my craft room.
I am really into stars. So I graben some cardboard, the Black design paper from reprint and some tiny light bulbs to create this glow-in-the-dark star for my shelf. The style really clean to Focus on the background. I hope the photo Shows the pretty look. Let me know what you think..

Hip hurray!
In spring, I´ve many birthdays I want to celebrate. It´s always good to have some birthday cards ready to use. For this card in particular I already have someone in mind. The paper with the boards are one of my absolute favorites (along with Basic Collection :-)!
I´ve stamped directly on the background paper, I wanted to get a little feeling of "graffiti wall". Some flowers of various sizes complement the card.
Tack för idag! Kram; DT-Liza
Thanks for today! Hugs, DT-Liza

Background Technique Workshop: distress inks and stencils
Hiya everyone,
as promised last week I've created a little workshop for you on how to work with distress ink and stencils to create a great background:
1. Take a blank sheet of paper or any high quality design paper you like. Make sure the paper isn't coated or glossy. I suggest the paper by Reprint as they are not only beautiful but also high quality and able to soak up the extra liquid of the ink.
2. Place a stencil of your choise on the paper. Make sure the table you're working on is covered with some old newspaper or foil as it will be hard to get the paint off the table.
3. Use a sponge dabber, small sponge or one of these fancy mini ink blending tools from the reprint shop.
4. Choose any distress ink you like. You can even pick several colors if you like. I went for Evergreen Bough and Weathered Wood, which you can also find in the store. Make sure to start with the brighter color and hold the sponge upright to add the ink. Start by making little circles from the outside towards the middle of the paper so the colors will blend even more nicely.
5. You're actually already done by now, but if you like, you can even add another layer by moving the stencil a bit or choosing a differnt stencil to work with.
6. Take another color and just let the magic happen...
You can combine this background technique with any card, ATC or project you like. This it what I came up with last week. You can find all the details and details on the materials I've used here: http://reprintartstamps.blogspot.de/2017/01/hiya-everyone-its-been-long-time-since.html
I hope you enjoyed this little workshop and I am looking forward to seing your project. Please make sure to tag them with #reprinthobby so we can have a look. Thank you.
