The stamp in focus

Sometimes you just want to let a beautiful stamp get all the attention, without any distractions like sentiments or too much decorations. That's exactly what I did on these three cards. For the first one, I stamped it three times - first on a white cardstock and then also on a purple and a lilac patterned paper, from which I then fuzzy cut out the leafs and flower. I adhered them on top of the original stamp using foam squares. Easy and pretty.

For the next beach-inspired card I used the same stamp three times, using stamp pads in different shades of blue. I slightly offset the motif on every square, just to give the illusion of having used different stamps :)

For the last card I used a "distress square" which is nothing more than a stencil that I tore from regular printer paper, in the shape of an un-even rectangel. I then used a light blue Distress ink pad and an Ink blending tool to colour the background using the stencil.

The flower is coloured directly to the stamp, using Distress markers. There is no rush in colouring the stamp, take your time to create those beautiful shades and just breathe on the stamp to re-activate the ink when you are ready to stamp.
