Merry Christmas på you...

 And the Christmas theeme continues...

Till Formex så gjorde jag en "bok" som ser ut så här:
For Formex I made a "book" that looks like this:

Basen till boken är lite tjockare akvarellpapper för att få lite extra stadga.
Och sedan är det lager på lager med papper.
På framsidan är det inte mindre än 9 lager där det är som tjockast...
Det mönstrade papperet är från Websters
Stämpeln "Merry Christmas" är embossad i guld.
Knappen kommer från Tim Holtz och finns i flera varianter i samma set
Nyckeln sitter i en bit glansig snodd.

The base for the book is made of a bit thicker and heavier aquarell paper.
And over that, layer on layer with papers.
On the front of the book, there are no less than 9 layers of paper...
The patterened paper is from Websters.
The rubberstamp "Merry Christmas" is heat embossed in gold.
The button is from Tim Holz collection and is available in several diffent varieties.
The key is attached to a piece of shiny rope.

I julkulorna så är det egentligen bokstäver, men det tyckte jag inte om, så jag klippte till cirklar som passade och stämplade lite jultext, för att sedan täcka det hela med Crackle Accent.

In the christmas bables there originally is letters, but I didn´t like that, so I cut circles that I staped with some christmas texts, and then covered it all with some Crackle Accent.

På den andra sidan så har jag klippt ut rosorna från ett annat papper och satt fast i och på boken.
Kanterna vid "boksidorna" klädde jag med ett band.

On the other side of the book i mounted some roses, cut from another paper, in and on the pages.
The edges of "the sides" were covered with a ribbon.

Med alla dessa lager papper så är det kanske inte nåt man postar, om man inte vill betala jättedyrt porto, men kul var det att göra den.
Alla kanter var som vanligt distressade med "Vintage Photo".

With all layers of paper, it hardly is something that you send by mail due to all layers of paper, bur it was really fun to do :)
