Tre blommor

Dagens enkla kort passar egentligen till vad som helst, och är ett kort precis i min smak. Less is more, som man säger. Blommorna är stämplade på olika mönstrade papper och sedan utklippta, vilket är lite pilligt, men väldigt roligt!

Today's simple card suits any occation, and it´s a card just in my taste. Less is more, as they say. The flowers are stamped on different patterned paper and then cut out, which is a bit fiddly, but very fun!

Blommorna sitter fast med 3D-kuddar för en extra effekt. Stjälkarna har jag ritat dit med en smal svart penna innan blommorna sätts dit.

The flowers are attached with 3D foam pads for extra effect. The stems are drawn with a thin black pen.

A little box

Today I´m gonna show you a little box that I made. It´s almost the size of a small Swedish matchbox made out of ordinary white cardstock:

Before I assembled the box I glued a patterned paper from Reprint (that I discovered is no longer available but it would look lovely in any of the new ones) that I chalked the edges on. I cut a strip of the same paper and stamped the text. I decorated with some leaves and a flower.

Chocolate basket

It's just this time of the year when everyone seems to have the flu or at least a cold. My friend is stuck in bed since last week and it was about time to cheer her up with some chocolate. I crafted this little paper basket with a wooden print design paper and added loads of chocolate, cookies and candy. She's a real girly girl and just loves everything pink. So I added some glitter tape to a piece of paper, stamped one of my fave stamps "the beat of yout heart is the thythm of your soul" on the glitter tape and attached it to the basket. Voila - a very sweet little give away. I think this would also be neat for Easter and I am actualy thinking of crafting some more.

Say it with roses

En hel rad med rosor pryder en av de nya stämplarna hos Reprint. Här har jag stämplat samma stämpel flera gånger med olika nyanser av lila för en "ombre" effekt. Under de stämplade motiven finns en matta av Reprints nya papper som ramar in fint mot den lila bakgrunden.

One of the new stamps from Reprint holds a whole row of roses. Here I stamped the same stamp several times using different shades of purple for an "ombre" effect. I really like how it turned out!

Jag började med den mörkast nyansen högst upp, färgade in stämpeln med en distress dyna och sprayade en liten puff vatten innan jag stämplade. Nästa gång färgade jag inte in dynan utan nyttjade det som kvar. En liten puff vatten på först, och sen stämplade jag. Den tredje gjorde jag på samma sätt, så mycket färg finns det alltså kvar på stämpeln utan att färga in den igen! Sen bytte jag färg och gjorde likadant med en något ljusare nyans av stämpeldyna. Även här färgade jag in en enda gång och stämplade hela tre gånger.

I started with the darkest colour at the top, I used a Distress Ink pad and sprayed ever so slightly with water on the stamp before I stamped. For the next row, I didn't add any more ink but just sprayed again with water before I stamped and then once again for the third time. So there's really enough ink on the stamp to last three impressions! For the fourth row, I used another Distress Ink color and repeated the same technique for the three bottom rows.

New member of the family

Jag har flera i min närhet som har fått eller ska få tillökning i familjen - och då dimper det HÄR paketet ner från Reprint... Hur stor chans är det, kanske de läst mina tankar?

I know several couples who have received or will get a new member of the family - and what arrived but this papers from Reprint ... What chance is there, maybe they read my mind?

Jag valde att göra ett kort i gammalrosa och grått, jag tycker det passar så bra ihop. Och eftersom alla Reprints papper är så genomtänkta så kan man med fördel matcha fram- och baksidorna också, vilket jag gjort.

I chosed to make a card in vintage pink and gray, I think it fits so well together. And because all of Reprint papers are so well thought, the front and back are so easy to match, which I´ve done.

Nallen är färglagd med vattenpensel och lite svart Distressfärg som späds med MYCKET vatten. En hängande gunghäst i metall får det att röra sig lite på kortet.

The teddybear is colored with a water brush and some black Distress color that is diluted with lots of water. A hanging rocking horse in metal causes it to move a little on the card.

Letter holder

I just love writing little Note and stick them everywhere for my loved ones to find. You can image how thrilled i was when I found a vintage photo frame I could upcycle... now we have a pretty letter holder.
