Hallo Ihr Lieben, leider hatte ich in den letzten Wochen so viel um die Ohren, dass ich gar nocht zum basteln gekommen bin. Um so mehr freue ich mich nun, dass ich passenden zu den ersten Herbsttagen nun etwas mehr Zeit habe und möchte euch daher heute unbedingt den hübschen Feder-Stempel von Reprint zeigen. Den Farbverlauf habe ich mit Distress Markern gezaubert und auch der Spruch ist ein Stempel von Reprint und ideal um mal ein kleines "Danke" oder einen Gruß zu senden. Die Karte ist bewusst sehr schlicht gehalten, damit der Fokus auf den Federn liegt. Ich hoffe, das Kärtchen gefällt euch und wünsche euch einen schönen Start ins Wochende.

Good afternoon, I've been so busy during the past days and couldn't make it to create something nice to show here. That's why I'm really pleased that I can show you this card today as I really wanted to show you this pretty feather stamp created by Reprint. by the way - the text is in German and a stamp aswell. The gradient was made with distress markers. I just love these markers! I've kept the card simple so the focus is on the feathers. I hope you like this card and that you'll have a great weekend.

Positive thought

Momentan stehe ich total darauf große Texte auf Karten in den Focus zu setzen. Da ist dieser schöne Spruch von Reprint einfach ideal. 
Der Teil "positive thought" ist durch 3D-pads hervorgehoben und den ombre look habe ich mit distress markers kreiert. 

I am totally into focusing on saying on cards these days. This nice quote from reprint is just perfect! 3D-pads were used for the "positive thought" part and the ombre look was created by using distressed markers instead of a stamping pad.

My first christmas card this year....

A bag of love

Ett kärleksfullt kort, gömt i en dekorerad papperspåse. Påsen är ny i sortimentet och finns i två storlekar. Detta är den mindre modellen, den mäter ungefär 11,5x14,5 cm. Själva påsen har jag först stämplat med en mönsterstämpel med vit stämpeldyna. På den har jag monterat ett stämplat motiv, fjärilshjärtat. I påsen finns sen kortet, format som en tag som man drar upp.

This card of love is hidden inside a flat paper bag. The craft bags have just arrived to Reprint, and they come in two sizes. This is the smaller one, measuring approx 11,5x14,5 cm. The first think I did was to stamp a chevron pattern in white. On the front, I then adhered another stamped image, the butterfly heart. The card itself is shaped as a tag, which you pull up from the bag.

Närbild på fjärilshjärtat. Jag har stämplat på Specialty Stamping paper från Ranger, och använt distress marker pennorna för att få motivet i olika nyanser. Efteråt har jag försiktigt färgat in pappret med en ljusbrun distress dyna, Pumice Stone (favoritfärgen!) och skvätt lite vatten över för att få till prickarna. Denna teknik funkar allra bäst med just Specialty Stamping paper.

Closeup of the butterfly heart stamp. I used the Specialty Stamping paper from Ranger, and used Distress Markers to get the different shades in the image. After stamping, I added some Distress Ink (Pumice Stone, my favourite!) to the paper and flickred some water to get the splash marks. This technique works best on Specialty Stamping paper.

På tagen har jag också stämplat fjärilshjärtat, men utan att färga in stämpeln på nytt. Jag använde bara den färg som fanns kvar efter första stämplingen (den på framsidan) och andades lite varm luft på stämpeln för att aktivera färgen igen. Andra stämplingen ger ett mjukare intryck, men mildare färger.

I stamped the butterfly heart on the tag too, but this time using whatever ink was left on the stamp from the first stamping. I just re-activated the ink by huffing some warm air on it before stamping. The impression is so much softer the other time.

Playing with Distress Markers

Med Distress Markers kan man färga in en stämpel med olika nyanser direkt på stämpeln - och få en vattenfärgseffekt med olika nyanser i samma stämpeltryck. Här har jag färgat in blomman i olika lila nyanser, och stjälkarna i olika gröna. Just lila och grönt tycker jag är en sån harmonisk kombination!

Distress Markers are the perfect medium when you want a multi-coloured stamped image. The pens allow you to brush the ink directly onto the stamp, giving nice shaded colours in one single impression. For this card, I used purple shades for the flowers and green for the stems. The purple-green combo is one of my favourites!

Birthday wishes

Distress Markers är lätta att jobba med och här har jag använt dem både till att färglägga den fina flickan med paket och till att färga in textstämpeln direkt för att få olika nyanser på orden.

Distress Markers are easy to work with and here I used them both to colour the stamped image with, as well as using directly on the stamp to get different shades to the words.

Bling i form av stickles på rosetten och längs kanten på det mönstrade pappret, samt rhinestones i swirlen! Rosbladen är utstansade ur samma mönsterpapper, med en die från Tim Holtz.

Some additional bling using stickles along the edges of the paper and in the bow, and then some rhinestones in the swirl! The rose leafs are cut out in the same patterned paper using a die from Tim Holtz.

Spool of thread/Trådrulle

Jag har använt en gammal trådrulle i trä, större
variant och dekorerat med papper från Reprint.
Löven är en stämpel som jag klippt ut
och målat med de nya distresspennorna.
En rosett i samma spets som runt rullen.

I´ve used an old spool of thread, a bigger one of tree, and decorated with
papers from Reprint. The leafs are a stamp as I have cut out and painted
with the new distress markers. A bow in same lace as around the spool.
