Feathers

Hallo Ihr Lieben, leider hatte ich in den letzten Wochen so viel um die Ohren, dass ich gar nocht zum basteln gekommen bin. Um so mehr freue ich mich nun, dass ich passenden zu den ersten Herbsttagen nun etwas mehr Zeit habe und möchte euch daher heute unbedingt den hübschen Feder-Stempel von Reprint zeigen. Den Farbverlauf habe ich mit Distress Markern gezaubert und auch der Spruch ist ein Stempel von Reprint und ideal um mal ein kleines "Danke" oder einen Gruß zu senden. Die Karte ist bewusst sehr schlicht gehalten, damit der Fokus auf den Federn liegt. Ich hoffe, das Kärtchen gefällt euch und wünsche euch einen schönen Start ins Wochende.

Good afternoon, I've been so busy during the past days and couldn't make it to create something nice to show here. That's why I'm really pleased that I can show you this card today as I really wanted to show you this pretty feather stamp created by Reprint. by the way - the text is in German and a stamp aswell. The gradient was made with distress markers. I just love these markers! I've kept the card simple so the focus is on the feathers. I hope you like this card and that you'll have a great weekend.

Butterfly tag

I've been really busy lately and didn't have that much time for crafting. That's why I am really pleased that I had some spare time to create this tag today. I really like the butterfly stamp right now. And it really pops colored with the bright distress markers. The dark background is from th basic collection and the splattered one was also created with the distress markers. Adding a touch of sparke, a lace ribbon and a fun quote really made my day. Hope you like this tag aswell...

Positive thought

Momentan stehe ich total darauf große Texte auf Karten in den Focus zu setzen. Da ist dieser schöne Spruch von Reprint einfach ideal. 
Der Teil "positive thought" ist durch 3D-pads hervorgehoben und den ombre look habe ich mit distress markers kreiert. 

I am totally into focusing on saying on cards these days. This nice quote from reprint is just perfect! 3D-pads were used for the "positive thought" part and the ombre look was created by using distressed markers instead of a stamping pad.

Als ich heute meine Stempel durchforstet habe, ist mir ein sehr schöner Stempel von Reprint in die Hände gefallen. Es ist ein Herz mit dem Schriftzug "Ich liebe dich" in verschiedenen Sprachen. Einfach perfekt für eine kleine Notiz für die Liebsten.

As I ransacked my stamps today, this beautiful Teprint stamp has fallen into my hands. It is a heart with the words " I love you " in different languages. Perfect for a little note for the loved ones.

Die Herzen habe ich mit distress markern und den Schriftzug mit schwarzem Staz-On gestempelt. Das kleine Herz im Schriftzug ist paper pierced mit Reprint Papier in einen wunderbaren rosa. Zum matten habe ich ebenfalls Papier von Reprint benutzt, welches leider durch das Motiv gar nicht so gut sichtbar ist. Schaut es euch daher auf jeden Fall mal im Shop an. Es ist einfach toll für Vintage Motive und distress Schätze!

The heart I stamped with distress markers and the lettering with black Staz -On. The small heart in the lettering is paper pierced with Reprint paper in a wonderful pink. I've also used Reprint paper for matting the print, which is clearly not as visible as it should be, so make sure to check it out in the shop.
It's just great for vintage designs and distress treasure!

Ballons

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

ich hoffe ihr hattet eine tolle Woche. Meine war einfach perfekt und ich hatte sehr viel Spaß dabei heute meine Karte für euch vorzubereiten. Ich mag momentan wahnsinnig gerne Ballons auf Karten. Ich glaube, sie werden ein grißer Hit in diesem Jahr und man sieht sie jetzt auch immer häufiger auf Karten da sie einfach viel Freude vermitteln - egal ob für Kinder, Frauen oder auch Männer.

I hope you had a great week. Mine was just perfect and I had so much fun creating a card for you guys today. I'm really into ballons on cards these days. I believe that they are the next big thing and you can already see them on a lot of cards these days as they are just fun and work vor everyone - kids, females and even males.

Ich habe eine weiße Karte als Basis genommen und mit flieder und schwarzem Cardstock kombiniert. Die weißen Kleckse im Hintergrund sind keine komplizierte Technik, sondern meine Geheimwaffe waren einer meiner liebsten Stempel von Reprint welchen ich einfach mit einem weißen distress Marker kombiniert habe. Einfach den Stempel mit dem marker anmalen und über das komplette schwarze Cardstock stempeln. Anschließend habe ich die Ballons aus meinem liebsten Reprint Papier ausgeschnitten - Reststücke sind hierfür perfekt. Etwas Nähgarn an die Ballons binden, damit sie nicht davon fliegen. Schleife drum und FERTIG.

I took a plain white card and added lilac and black cardstock. The white splatters in the background weren't made with any complicated technique. My secret weapon was one of my favorite Reprint stamps which I've combined with a white distress marker. Just ink the stamp with the marker and stamp it all over the black cardstock. Afterwards I've cut the ballons out of my favorite Reprint papers - left overs are perfect for the ballons. I've tied yarn on the ballons so they won't fly away and fixed with a nice ribbon - DONE

Alles Liebe zu Weihnachten

Die ersten fünf Tage nach dem Wochenende sind immer am härtesten... Während ich mich also in gute Stimmung für das Wochenende brachte, fiel mir bei einem Blick in den Kalender auf, dass Weihnachten bereits in 5 Wochen ist. Höchste Zeit also, um endlich mit den Weihnachtskarten zu beginnen.

The first five days after a weekend are the hardest... So while getting in a good mood for the weekend I've checked the calender and noticed that christmas is going to be in 5 weeks. Seems like it is about time to get started with the christmas cards.

Wenn ich Karten gestalten, notiere ich mir gerne die jeweiligen Farbkombinationen. So ist es einfacher diese für zukünftige Projekte wieder zu nutzen. Ist dir eigentlich schon aufgefallen, dass das neue Reprint Papier farblich perfekt zu den Distress Markern von Tim Holtz passt? Meine Kombination für diese Karte ist aged mahogany, fired brick und black soot.

When I create cards I like to keep a record of the colors I used – that way it is easier to keep track of my color choices for future use. Die Basis ist Cardstock in dunkel rot, welches ich mit dem weihnachtlichen Papier Red Rhombs (RP0162) aus der Merry & Bright Kollektion kombiniert habe. Die Sterne sind aus goldenem Glitterpapier und mit 3D-Pads auf den Bändern befestigt und natürlich durften auch ein paar passenden Halbperlen nicht fehlen um das Bild abzurunden. Den wunderschönen Schriftzug nennt sich "OM780 E Alles libe zu" und du kannst alle Sachen - auch die Distress Marker - direkt über den Reprint Webshop beziehen.. Wie bereits erwähnt ist meine Kombination aged mahogany, fired brick und black soot.

The base is cardstock in dark red which I’ve combined him with the christmas paper Red Rhombs ( RP0162 ) from the Merry & Bright collection. The stars are made of golden glitter paper and fixed with 3D pads on top of the ribbons. I’ve also added a couple of matching pearls in order to complete the picture.The beautiful lettering is called “OM780 E Alles libe zu” and you can get all these great items as well as the Distress Markers at the Reprint webshop. As said before my combination is aged mahogany, fired brick and black soot.
