Birthday Banners

Wimpel sind prima. Sie sind so wie Regenbögen oder Glitzer - einfach fröhlich. Darum passen sie auch super zu Geburtstagskarten.Ich habe einige Reststücke von verschiedenen Papieren von Reprint genommen - sie sind einfach zu schön, um die Reste zu entsorgen - und habe Wimpel zurecht geschnitten, welche mit ein wenig glitter tape verschönert wurden. Der Glitzereffekt durch die Perlen und die Glitzersteinchen gibt er Karte twas festliches. Dazu den Schriftzug von Reprint gestempelt und schon hat man eine klasse Geburtstagskarte.

Banners are great. They are like rainbows or sparkles - just joyful. That's why they are perfect for birthday cards. I've taken some scraps from differnt reprint papers, as they are just too pretty to throw away and made some banners and spiced them up with some glitter tape. Adding some sparkle with pearls and rhinestones gives the card a festive touch. Combined with this great "happy birthday" stamp from reprint you've got a great birthday card.

Butterfly Wishes

Hallo Ihr Lieben, ich hoffe ihr habt einen schönen Nachmittag bei perfekten Sonnenschein. Die warmen Temperaturen haben mich dazu inspiriert diese niedliche Schmetterling-Karte zu werkeln. Das Motiv ist einer meiner Favoriten aus der aktuellen Kollektion und da der Stempel so hübsch ist lässt er sich wunderbar mit einemHintergrund aus geschichtetem Papier kombinieren.

Hiya, hope you're having a great afternoon enjoying the summer sun. The warm weather inspired me to create this cute butterfly card. The stamp is one of my faves from the latest collestion and as the stamp is so pretty it's perfect to combine with a layered background.

Hier ist der Stempel nochmal als Nahaufnahme zu sehen. Ist er nicht hübsch? Ich habe einen kleinen schwarzen Glitzerstein aus der Reprint Kollektion drauf befestigst um noch etwas extra Glanz auf die Karte zu bringen.

Here's a close up of the butterfly. Isn't it pretty? I've attached a small black rhinstone from the reprint collection to add some extra sparkle.

Der Hauptfokus sollte auf den Schmetterlingen liegen, aber sie sollte auch einen netten Spruch haben. Der text sagt "Herzlichen Glückwunsch" und ist somit neben Geburtstagen auch prima geeignet für eine Verlobung, einen Gewinner eines Wettbewerbs, ...
I wanted the main focus on the butterflies yet a nice saying on the card. The text says "Herzliches Glückwunsch" (German.. "Congratulations") - not only is this perfect for birthdays, but also for engagements, a compatition winner, ...

Positive thought

Momentan stehe ich total darauf große Texte auf Karten in den Focus zu setzen. Da ist dieser schöne Spruch von Reprint einfach ideal. 
Der Teil "positive thought" ist durch 3D-pads hervorgehoben und den ombre look habe ich mit distress markers kreiert. 

I am totally into focusing on saying on cards these days. This nice quote from reprint is just perfect! 3D-pads were used for the "positive thought" part and the ombre look was created by using distressed markers instead of a stamping pad.

Wooden Calendar

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

es ist momentan richtig kalt und üsselig draußen. Genau das richtige wetter um endlich mal mein Kalender-Projekt zu beenden. Ich hab bereits vor einigen Wochen gestartet, war mir aber noch nicht sicher wie das fertige Werk aussehen sollte. Mein Schwerpunkt war auf dem wunderschönen Papier von Reprint. Die verschiedenen Designs gefallen mir alle so gut, dass ich mich gar nicht für eine Sorte entscheiden konnte. Daher habe ich beschlossen einfach alle zu nehmen...

it's so cold any rainy outside that I finally finished my calender project. I already started a few weeks ago but wasn't really sure about how I wanted it to look once it's done. My main focus was on the great Reprint paper as I just love it so much - I just couldn't decide which papers I wanted to take for this project so I just took them all...

Begonnen habe ich mit kleinen Holzplättchen, welche ich mit bunten Designpapier von Reprint beklebt habe. Die Zahlen und Buchstaben sind am Computer entstanden. Die Halterung habe ist bewusst schlicht gehalten, damit es zu den einfachen Holzpättchen passt. Lediglich etwas Band, eine Schleife und ein paar glitzernde Halbperlen habe ich zugefügt. Der Kalender kann jedes Jahr wieder neu benutzt werden und die einzelnen Plättchen können täglich umgesteckt werden - total praktisch!

I started with small wood panels which I layered with the colorful Reprint design paper. The numbers and letters were created at the computer. The design of the stand needed to be clean and simple as I wanted it to work with the pure look of the wood panels. All I added is ribbon, a burlap bow and some rhinesones. The calender can be used for years as you can exchange the wood panels every day - really practical!

Baby card

I´ve used Reprints vintage paper with baby pictures.

I´ve chalked the edges on the papers and flowers 

with distress pad Pumice Stone.

The babyfeets comes from a ribbon with baby theme.

At the end I color a little bit here and there with white crackle paint.

I´ve used some crackle paint around everything, 

and rhinestone in the butterfly, a charm in the roses

and I stamped the text with Versa color "Sepia".

colored everything with some white Crackle Paint.

Skänk ett vänligt ord

Det är väldigt roligt att göra sina egna mönstrade papper genom att stämpla med olika motiv och färger. Och själv är jag svag för stjärnor, jag tycker det är så snyggt. Så resultatet blev - mycket stjärnor att stämpla!

Med denna underbara stjärnkrans är det lätt att få till ett snyggt resultat. Kransarna är stämplade med flera olika milda färger för att få den där mjuka snökänslan.

It's so fun to make your own patterned paper by stamping with different designs and colors. And I love stars, I think it's so neat. So the result was - a lot of stars to stamp!
With this wonderful star wreath, it is easy to get a nice result. All the wreaths are stamped with a variety of soft colors to get that soft snowy feeling.

Jag tycker den här texten är så fin. Ungefär "ett vänligt ord kan hålla en varm hela vintern". Det är verkligen en värmande tanke, tänk att det är så lätt att göra nån glad! I ena hörnet sitter det en chipboardstjärna som är målad med akrylfärg.

I think this lyric is so nice. It really is a warming thought, that it is so easy to make someone happy! There is a chipboard star in one corner, witch is painted with acrylic paint.

Gör någon glad - skänk ett vänligt ord eller två...

Smällkarameller

Jag har börjat ett nytt jobb i en tygbutik, och jag kan inte låta bli att inspireras av tygerna. Jag har gjort smällkarameller av turkos chiffong, vit tyll och toarullar. Rullarna är först vitmålade och sen rullades tyget runt och knöts ihop med sidenband.

I've started a new job in a fabric store, and I can not help but be inspired by the fabrics. I have made Christmas crackers of turquoise chiffon, white tulle and toilet rolls. The rolls are first painted white and then rolled the fabric around and tied together with a satin ribbon.

 
Karamellerna är dekorerade med en bit utstansat papper som ser ut som ett nät. Sedan sitter där några blommor, lite pärlband och en målad chipboardstjärna. På stjärnan sitter den några rhinestones. Och inuti rullen ligger det godis såklart!

The Christmas crackers are decorated with a piece of die cut paper that looks like a net. Then I added some flowers, some pearl string and a painted chipboard star. The star is decorated with a few rhinestones. And inside the cracker is candy of course!

A shoe with a card

This is a fun gift to someone instead of just a card.
It´s very easy to make, and it feels a little bit more "more".

The sweet little girl is from a Reprint paper. All papers are from
Reprints own collection.

Beautiful flowers and the french lily is a die from Tim Holtz.
I colored it with white crackle paint.
Under the flowers I´ve used some tulle.

A beautiful heart charm on a crackle painted chipboard heart.
At the crown there is white gesso for a little effect.

Lace and rhinestones are beautiful embellishments.

Two ATC cards

Hello! 

Too much work right now, so I totally forgot to put up my post this morning. 

But here it comes! I made two ATC cards for this week with Reprints papers

and embellishments. The pictures of the angels comes from small tags.

A tiny heart box

This is a very tiny heart box.
I put paper from graphic 45 around the box and at the top.
Around the top I put lace, and on the top more lace. 

I decorated with rhinestones and roses. 

I colored everything with some white gesso and white crackle paint
to get the shabby chic look.

This is my second serie with ATC.
I made 4 with same look in this serie.

pink and white roses/flowers, rhinestones and
a key charm. The edges are chalked with Distress
