it's been a while since my last post and I hope everyone is doing well.

Tonight I'll show you an aquarell card I've made which I have combined with the beautiful reprint butterfly.

Butterfly Wishes

Hallo Ihr Lieben, ich hoffe ihr habt einen schönen Nachmittag bei perfekten Sonnenschein. Die warmen Temperaturen haben mich dazu inspiriert diese niedliche Schmetterling-Karte zu werkeln. Das Motiv ist einer meiner Favoriten aus der aktuellen Kollektion und da der Stempel so hübsch ist lässt er sich wunderbar mit einemHintergrund aus geschichtetem Papier kombinieren.

Hiya, hope you're having a great afternoon enjoying the summer sun. The warm weather inspired me to create this cute butterfly card. The stamp is one of my faves from the latest collestion and as the stamp is so pretty it's perfect to combine with a layered background.

Hier ist der Stempel nochmal als Nahaufnahme zu sehen. Ist er nicht hübsch? Ich habe einen kleinen schwarzen Glitzerstein aus der Reprint Kollektion drauf befestigst um noch etwas extra Glanz auf die Karte zu bringen.

Here's a close up of the butterfly. Isn't it pretty? I've attached a small black rhinstone from the reprint collection to add some extra sparkle.

Der Hauptfokus sollte auf den Schmetterlingen liegen, aber sie sollte auch einen netten Spruch haben. Der text sagt "Herzlichen Glückwunsch" und ist somit neben Geburtstagen auch prima geeignet für eine Verlobung, einen Gewinner eines Wettbewerbs, ...
I wanted the main focus on the butterflies yet a nice saying on the card. The text says "Herzliches Glückwunsch" (German.. "Congratulations") - not only is this perfect for birthdays, but also for engagements, a compatition winner, ...

Butterfly tag

I've been really busy lately and didn't have that much time for crafting. That's why I am really pleased that I had some spare time to create this tag today. I really like the butterfly stamp right now. And it really pops colored with the bright distress markers. The dark background is from th basic collection and the splattered one was also created with the distress markers. Adding a touch of sparke, a lace ribbon and a fun quote really made my day. Hope you like this tag aswell...

"Bra att ha kort" kan man inte ha för många av. Det här blev bra att ha meddetsamma och går på lådan ikväll. :)

You can't have too many of those any occasion cards, ready to be mailed out. Here is one that will be in the mail later today.

Toksöt nalle som jag tror alla blir glad av att få och en fjäril för att fira våren som äntligen är här på riktigt. Kul i sammanhanget är att pappren är från en julkollektion... :)

A totally cute bear that will put a smile on anyones face I think. :) and I also added a butterfly to celebrate spring. The papers are from a Christmas collection but works great for any spring card too. :)

Ett stort grattis

Här kommer ett grattiskort i lätta vårfärger - investerade i en ny distressdyna Twisted Citron, en underbar grön nyans!  Den använde jag både för att distressa in den embossade collagestämpeln och till den gröna remsan på vänstersidan av kortet.

Here is a card in beautiful spring colors. I got me a new Distress ink - Twisted Citron, a wonderful bright green. I used it to ink up the embossed collage stamp image and for the green stripe at the left of the card.

Kakor!

När vi var hos Reprint i våras fick vi med oss några brödpåsar i oblekt papper. Jag har stansat ut ett hål ur påsen och klistrat dit en bit plast för att få ett fönster. Man vill ju gärna se vad som gömmer sig där... =) Som dekor sitter det ett tårtpapper från Bo Bunny runt hålet för att dölja kanten på plastbiten.

I have used a bread bag in craft paper, which I punched out a hole in and glued a piece of plastic over to get a window into the bag. It´s nice to see what's hiding in there... =) As a decor I have pasted a doily from Bo Bunny around the hole to cover the edge of the plastic.

Dessa chalkboard-etiketter är jättefina och praktiska. Perfekt om man vill återanvända påsen och skriva nåt annat!

These chalkboard labels are really nice and works great. Perfect if you want to reuse the bag and write something else!

Ett kort att ge till en vän som behöver lite uppmuntran? Här får budskapet i texten fullt fokus.

A card to give to a friend who is in need of some encouragement? The message of the sentence get the whole attention. ("The highest is not to never fall but to get up after each one")

Lite akrylfärg på monogrammet får det att bli ännu lite "lyxigare" =).

Some acrylic paint on the monogram get it to be even a little more "luxurious" =).

Ett stort grattis

Ett kort med vackra liljekonvaljer kanske passar bättre till en vår-födelsedag, men jag tycker att även ett höstbarn kan få en bukett någon gång. Den vackra buketten är utstansad från pappret Summer Labels.

The bouquet of spring flowers might suit a spring birthday card better, but I think that a fall birthday girl can have one once in a while too. The center is a die cut from the paper Summer Labels. Love it!

Vad passar bättre till blommor än fjärilar? Och lite organzaband och några halvpärlor. För att rama in det hela fick kortet en handsydd söm runt om.

Butterflies are the perfect companion to beautiful flowers. And some organza ribbon and pearls. A hand stitched border frames it all. Done.

Together

Vissa papper är bara helt magiskt vackra. Och svåra att skära i... Men när man väl gör det så är det ren och skär lycka. :) Min tvekan att klippa har gällt papper från Summer wings collection 6x6. Så fina!

Some papers are simply too beautiful to cut. They lay around the craft table to be admired. But once the first cut is done, it's a pure joy to create with them. My latest paper crush is with the Summer wings Collection 6x6. They are too beautiful for words. 

Det fick bli en ren design så att pappren fick ordentligt med utrymme att visa upp sig. Jag tokgillar kanterna med rosenknoppar så dem ville jag bevara.

I choose a clean design to let the papers shine. I love the rose buds along the edges, so I wanted to use them. 

Textstämpel och fjärilar är emossade med kopparpulver och lite mer glitter blir det med några rhinestones. En ros och några knoppar samt lite twine och så är det klart.

The sentiment and the butterflies are embossed with copper powder. More glitter comes from some rhinestones. A rose, a few buds and twine and it's all done.

Kikhål!

Denna veckan visar jag ett enkelt och lekfullt kort som är roligt att göra!

Vid första anblicken ser det ut som att dekorationerna sitter på utsidan av kortet - men det gör de inte... Jag har skurit ut tre rutor ur kortbasen, och sedan klippt ut tre identiska bitar ur ett mönstrat papper och klistrat dem mitt för hålen, vilket gör att de ser ut att sitta på utsidan.

This week I display a simple and playful card that is fun to do!

At first glance, it looks like the decorations is on the outside of the card - but they don´t... I´ve cut out three squares from the front of the card, and then cut out three identical pieces out of a patterned paper and pasted them align with the holes , which makes them appear to be on the outside.

En liten dekoration på varje pappersbit och en grattishälsning under som syns när kortet öppnas - så är det klart.

A tiny decoration on each piece of paper and a birthday greeting showing only when the card is opened - that's it.

Istället för en blomma

Jag har lyckan att ha en sådan där underbar människa som alltid ställer upp och fixar och donar i min närhet. Det här kortet är till henne nu när hon efter ett långt arbetsliv ska gå i en efterlängtad pension.

I have a wonderful friend. She is the type that is always there when needed, giving a hand, fixing things. This card is for her as she is retiring at the end of the month.

Stämpeln Istället för en blomma är perfekt för ett sådant här kort (eftersom hon inte får någon blomma av mig denna gång).

The stamp that reads Instead of a flower is perfect for the occssion (especially since I'm not giving her a flower this time).

Bakgrundsstämpeln är stämplad och clear embossad på mönstrat papper men inkades med Distress ink för att få lite känsla av himmel och gräs.

The background stamp is clear embossed on patterned paper. It was also inked with Distress inks, green and blue for an enhanced grass and sky feeling.

Ett stort grattis

Grattiskort tycks man inte kunna få för många av... Så här kommer ett till. :) Det går i blått med papper från Reprint Basic Collection med lite dekorationer i en varm brun färg som kontrast.

You can never have to many birthday cards in your stash... So, here is another one in blue using papers from Reprint Basic Collection.

 Den bruna blomman är helt underbar med många lager och skiftande färg. Den fick sällskap av några vita rosor.

The brown flower is absolutely gorgeous! Love it's layers and nuances of brown and beige and yellow.

För att balancera blommorna dekorerades det motsatta hörnet med fjärilar som stämplats, clear embossats och klippts ut. 

To balance the flowers there are a couple of stamped, clear embossed and cut out butterflies in the opposite corner.

Ha en fin fortsättning på veckan. Njut av sol och scrap!

Cirklar i massor!

Jag plockade fram min gamla cirkelstans idag, och gjorde detta kort med härliga papper ur Reprints Basic Collection. Cirklarna målades försiktigt med en touch av vit Gesso.

I used my old circle punch today, and made ​​this card with lovely paper from Reprints Basic Collection. The circles were painted carefully with a touch of white Gesso.

Därefter sattes en stjärna dit med ett snyggt grattismotiv. En fjäril och några halvpärlor så var kortet klart!

Then a star motif with nice congratulationtext was added. A butterfly and a few half pearls to it and the card was done!

3 Simple Cards for Easter

Today I´m gonna show you three really simple Easter cards that really puts Reprint´s beautiful stamps in focus. To start with I used a white, smooth cardstock so the stamps really show. I chose three different stamps from Reprint and one Easter greeting text.

On the first I used a luscious fern stamp (OM1131I) and four different green Distress Ink Pads:

On the second is a delicate anemone flower stamped with four different yellowish Distress Ink Pads:

On the third I used a beautiful butterfly stamp and four different purple Distress Ink Pads:

As you can see I used the same Easter greeting on all of them using a Tuxedo Black ink pad from Memento.

En liten hälsning

I fredags hämtade jag hem ett paket från Reprint med några av de nya papperna, och jag kan bara säga - snygga! Lätta att använda, passar till det mesta.
Här har jag använt baksidan på ett av pappren ur den senaste kollektionen. Symaskinen har också dammats av och fått sätta sin prägel på kortet. Kanterna har fått sin obligatoriska "svärta" såklart.

Last Friday I picked up a parcel from Reprint with some of the new papers, and I can only say - gorgeous! Easy to use, fits most occasions.
Here I have used the back of one of the papers from the latest collection. The sewing machine has been dusted off and had set its mark on the card. The edges have had their obligatory "blackness" of course.

Jag har klippt ut en fjäril ur ett papper och klistrat in den i en kapsyl. Lite glitterlim på vingarna och på med glossy accent över hela bilden. Tim Holtz fantastiska dekortejp passade också in tillsammans med lite spets och några små härliga blommor.

I have cut out a butterfly out of a sheet of paper and pasted it in a bottle cap. A little glitter glue on the wings and on with glossy accents over the entire image. Tim Holtz fantastic decorative tape fit in nicely along with some lace and some small beautiful flowers.

Återanvändning...

Nu i jultid när vi äter godis som aldrig förr får man en massa godispapper och askar över som man med fördel kan göra något roligt av. Här är ett After Eight-papper som gjorts om till ett litet kort med fodral. Enkelt och snabbt!

Now at Christmas time when we eat sweets like never before you get a lot of candy papers and boxes left, that you can usefully do something fun of. Here is an After Eight-paper that has been converted into a small card with the case. Quick and easy to do!

I fodralet ligger ett litet kort där du skriver din hälsning.

In the case there is a small card on which you write your greeting.

Fjäril vinga...

Jag tycker om att göra kort med rutor. Det är också ett väldigt bra sätt att bli av med spillbitar! Här har jag inte använt spillbitar, utan två papper av Reprints kollektion i A4-format.

I enjoy making cards with squares. It is also a very good way of getting rid of waste pieces! Here I have not used the waste pieces, but two paper of Reprints collection in A4 format.

Fjärilen är stämplad med Distress Stains tre metallicfärger. Det är bara att dutta på färgen på stämpeln och stämpelmotivet får en skimrande metallyster.

The butterfly is stamped with Distress Stains three metallic colors. Just dab the paint on the stamp and the stamped impression gets a shimmery metallic luster. 

Sen har jag maskerat stämpelmotivet och dragit med en Distress Stain över för att få en annan färg runt om.
För att göra maskeringen stämplar du bara motivet på ett vanligt kopieringspapper och klipper ut. Lägg sedan masken på ditt motiv så får du ingen färg på det.

Then I masked the imression and stroked with a Distress Stain over to get a different color all around.
To make the mask you just stamp the design on an ordinary copy paper and cut out. Then put the mask on your subject and you will not get paint on it.
 

Blomman är en fin detalj tillsammans med lite band och ett hänge, men fungerar också som ett "lås", som håller kortet stängt. Och som vanligt är kanterna skrapade och chalkade för att få en snygg finish.

The flower is a nice touch along with a little ribbon and a charm, but also acts as a "lock" that keeps the card closed. And as usual, the edges are scraped and chalkade to get a nice finish.

Strawberry fields forever

Jag har gjort en layout (LO) om när jag och min stora tjej var och plockade jordgubbar förra året. Jag tycker att bilden blev så fin där hon sitter och äter gubbarna. Men i själva verket tyckte hon inte att det var så märkvärdigt, hon ville åka hem efter typ tio minuter...

I've done a layout (LO) when I and my big girl was and picked strawberries last year. I think that the picture was so nice as she sits and eats the berries. But in fact, she did not think it was so special, she wanted to go home after ten minutes ...

Fjärilarna är urklippta ur ett av de nya mönstrade papperna. Jag gillar att hålla det enkelt med inte alltför mycket dekorationer, men jag ritade dit en slinga med blad för att få med lite grönt i bakrunden.

The butterflies are cut out from one of the new patterned papers. I like to keep it simple with not too much decoration, but I drew a loop with leaves to get a little green in the background.

Fotots kanter har jag filat på med nagelfil för att få en sliten "ram" runt. Fjärilarna har jag chalkat med en torr mörkbrun dyna.

The photo's edges I have on file with nail file to get a worn "frame" around. The butterflies I chalked with a dry dark brown pad.

Dags för vårskor?

Denna sko gjorde jag till Formexmässan i slutet av januari. Jag har använt ett papper ur Reprints sommarkollektion, As time goes by. Mallen på sulan och klacken hittade jag i en gammal tidning jag hade hemma, som jag kompletterade med en ovandel.

This shoe I made for Formex Fair in late January. I have used a paper out of Reprints summer collection, As time goes by. The template of the sole and heel, I found in an old magazine I had at home, which I supplemented with a top.

Jag har stämplat fjärilar både på sulan och på ovandelen av skon för att få lite mer mönster. Ovandelen är sen dekorerad rikligt med blommor, bling, pärlband, snöre och en pärlnål. Några rosor har jag färglagt för att få en färg som jag tyckte passade pappret.

I stamped the butterflies both on the sole and on the top of the shoe to get more patterns. The upper is then decorated with plenty of flowers, bling, pearlstring, string and a head pin. Some roses, I colorized to get a color that I thought suited the paper.

Bak på klacken är det fäst ett stämplat motiv i form av en rosett som jag klippt ut en ram till, och sen fäst en blomma på och lite snöre.

Back on the heel, I have attached a stamped design in the shape of a bow that I cut out a framework for, and then attached a flower on and some string.
