Christmas stockings are a great way to share some joy on St. Nicolas's Day. I created these stocking tags using some of my favorite Reprint papers...

... and they are already hanging on our cupboard. Wishing you all a jolly christmastime.

Pastel Christmas

Hallo zusammen,

als ich noch jünger war waren unsere Weihnachtskarten immer in rot, weiß und grün. Mit dem älter werden habe ich immer mehr angefangen mit Farben zu experimentieren und bin mittlerweile sehr offen für die verschiedensten Farbkombinationen. Hast du schon bemerkt, dass Weihnachten bereits in 8 Wochen ist? Höchste Zeit also um endlich mit dem basteln zu beginnen...

Ich habe einige meiner liebsten Reprint Papiere in pastell gewählt und diese mit einem dunklen anthrazit kombiniert.

Der Stempel nennt sich "christmas wishes" und ich finde ihn sehr schön.

Ich hoffe die Karte gefällt dir und hoffe du verrätst uns, welches deine Farbkombinationen zu Weihnachten sind...


Good afternoon everyone,

when I was younger our christmas cards always used to be in red, white and green. Growing older I started to experiment with colors and am really open to new colors combinations these days. Did you notice that christmas is going to be in 8 weeks? About time to start crafting...

I picked some of my favorite Reprint papers in pastel and combined it with a dark anthracite.

The stamp is called "christmas wishes" and I like it a lot.

Nu i juletider är det självklart att vi vill inspirera med Reprints julpapper och julstämplar så här kommer ett julkort från mig:

Since it´s Christmas season we wanna inspire you with using the Christmas papers and stamps from Reprint.  So here´s a Christmas card from me:

Framsidan:/Front:

Jag stansade ut ett stjärnhål i min kortbas och chalkade kanterna. Därefter monterade jag det mönstrade pappret bakom så att det kikade fram. 

I made a star shaped hole in my card using a die cut and used chalk around the edges. Then I mounted the patterned paper on the inside of the card making it peeking out through the star.

Insidan klädde jag med baksidan på det mönstrade pappret. Jag stämplade den fina jultexten på vit cardstock som jag sedan stansade ut med en metalldie.

I covered the inside of the card with the back of the patterned paper. I stamped the wonderful Christmas quote on white cardstock which I cut out with another metallic die.

A magic wand

Julkortsproduktionen är i full gång, och här är ett snabbt kort med en av de nya julstämplarna från Reprint. Texten är stämlad med svart Versa Fine och embossad med clear embossing pulver, ovanpå en bakgrund gjord med några olika nyanser av Distress ink och vattendroppar.

The Christmas card production is in full speed, here's a really quick card using one of the fabulous new Christmas stamps from Reprint. The text is stamped using a black Versa Fine ink pad, and embossed using clear powder, on top of a background made with Distress inks and water droplets.

Den söta ängeln har jag klippt ur från ett av Reprints nya klippark. Hon har fått ett lager Stickles Clear Rock Candy för en gammaldags glittrig effekt.

The sweet angel is fussy-cut from a Christmas label sheet from Reprint. I added a layer of Stickles Clear Rock Candy to get that vintage glittery feel.

It's been said many times ...

Älskar de nya julstämplarna! Här har jag stämplat med en VersaFine stämpeldyna för att få texten precis perfekt, och bara för att jag brukar använda svart så valde jag röd :)

I really love the new Christmas stamps! Here I used a VersaFine ink pad to get a crisp impression, and just for the sake of it I chose a red one instead of the usual black :)

Tänk så stor skillnad lite glitterlim kan göra. Rosetten har fått ett tunt lager av skimrande Stickles Star Dust och kanterna längs textstämpeln har fått en rand Stickles Platinum, för en fin vintage-effekt.

What a difference a little bling can make. The bow is covered in a thin layer of Stickles Star Dust and as a frame around the sentiment is a line of Stickles Platinum, for a really nice vintage effect.

On the Internet there´s a Swedish blog called "Veckans skiss" and for this week I´ve made a Christmas card using the wonderful papers and stamps from Reprint.

Jag är tillbaka!

Hejsan alla! / Hi everyone!

Nu var det väldigt länge sedan jag bloggade som DT för Reprint men nu är jag tillbaka och det känns jättekul!
It´s been a very long time since I was on the creative team for Reprint. But now I´m back and it feels so good!

Julen har ju passerat, men jag tänker ändå visa upp ett nygjort julkort. Jag har insett att när julen väl kommer är det så mycket som lockar på uppmärksamheten så det är bra att ha ett litet lager att ta av när det är dags!
Christmas has passed but I´m gonna show you a Christmas card anyway that I just made. I´ve realized that when it´s finally Christmas there so many things that´s stealing the attention so it´s nice to have a little stash to fall back on.

Den här gången har jag gjort ett CAS-kort (CAS= Clean And Simple), vilket går väldigt smidigt med de fina klipparken från Reprint:

Frosty the Snowman

Återigen, dessa fantastiska klippark alltså... Snögubben blir fin tillsammans med den snygga glittertejpen i två nyanser. Den är jätterolig att jobba med och det blir så effektfullt med en gång!

Again, these amazing cut out sheets... The snowman looks great along with the stylish glitter washi tape. It´s great fun to work with and the effect is immediate!

Några stenar i passande färg och lite glitterlim i hjärtat och kortet är klart!

Some rhinestones i a matching color and glitter glue in the heart shape and the card is done!

Santa´s coming to town

Jultomten kommer till stan... med tåg! Det är kul att göra kort i andra former, det sätter fantasin på prov. Denna form har jag fått från en av våra tidigare DT kollegor - tack Milo! =)
Tåget passar bra in i jultemat tycker jag. Och tillsammans med en bild av tomten ur de nya klipparken blir det väldigt bra.

Santa Claus is coming to town... by train! It's fun to do cards in other shapes, it puts your imagination to the test. This form I received from one of our former DT members - thanks Milo! =)

I think that the train fits well into the Christmas theme. Along with a picture of Santa from the new cutting sheets the card feels almost complete.

Som hjul har jag stansat ut tre cirklar, chalkat kanterna med en ljus dyna och fäst dem med 3D-kuddar.

As wheels, I punched out three circles, chalked the edges with a light pad and attached them with 3D foam pads.

Jingle Bell

En av Reprints nya julstämplar är denna fina klocka. Den är stämplad med en ljus blå nyans och sedan embossad med Hologram Sparkle för att få den att glittra utan att dölja stämpelfärgen. Med en tunn svart penna har jag ritat konturen runt klockan. En liten rosett i silver sätter pricken över i:et.

One of Reprints new Christmas stamps this nice bell. It is stamped with a light blue color and then embossed with Hologram Sparkle to get the sparkle without hiding the stamp color. With a thin black pencil, I drew the outline around the bell. A small bow in silver makes it complete.

Star card

Dagens projekt är ett kort utklippt som en stjärna. Det mönstrade pappret är "fastsytt" runt kanten med en tunn svart penna. Ett orgazaband runt midjan på stjärnan klär upp det hela.

Today's project is a card cut out like a star. The patterned paper is "sewn" around the edge with a thin black pencil. An orgaza ribbon around the waist of the star dress it up.

Bokstäverna är självhäftande och biljettremsan är från de nya klipparken - sååå fina!

The letters are self adhesive and the ticket strip are from the new cutting sheets - sooo nice!

O Tannenbaum

Denna söta julgransstämpel är ny för i år och här har jag använt lite guld-stickles på stjärnan i toppen. Kortet är byggt i lager på lager med hjälp av 3D kuddar för att få lite djup.

This sweet stamp with the Christmas tree is new for the season and I added some gold stickles for the star in the top. The card is built in layers using foam squares to get some depth.

Lite bling måste man ju ha till jul! Några limefärgade rhinestones lyfter fram det gröna från det chevron-mönstrade pappret.

There's always room for some bling! I added a few lime green rhinestones that pick up the green in the chevron-patterned paper.

Falling hearts

Ett helt litet regn av hjärtan pryder detta enkla julkort. Hjärtstämpeln är alldeles liten och oansenlig vid en första anblick, men tillsammans i grupp blir det väldigt effektfullt. Här har jag stämplat varje hjärta för sig och embossat dem med ett embossingplver i guld.

This card has a rain of little hearts, all embossed in gold. The heart stamp is really tiny and doesn't look like much at a quick glance, but used in a cluster like this it's really impressive.

Den svarta texten är egentligen de två första raderna på en mycket större stämpel, men här passade det så bra att bara använda en bit och komplettera med den fina "X-MAS" stämpeln. Den har jag stämplat på en bit vitt cardstock, embossat så den ser ut som ett sigill, och klippt ut.

The black text is really the top two rows of a much larger stamp, but here I thought it was perfect with just those two lines and then the "X-MAS" stamp, embossed to look like a seal.

Alles Liebe zu Weihnachten

Die ersten fünf Tage nach dem Wochenende sind immer am härtesten... Während ich mich also in gute Stimmung für das Wochenende brachte, fiel mir bei einem Blick in den Kalender auf, dass Weihnachten bereits in 5 Wochen ist. Höchste Zeit also, um endlich mit den Weihnachtskarten zu beginnen.

The first five days after a weekend are the hardest... So while getting in a good mood for the weekend I've checked the calender and noticed that christmas is going to be in 5 weeks. Seems like it is about time to get started with the christmas cards.

Wenn ich Karten gestalten, notiere ich mir gerne die jeweiligen Farbkombinationen. So ist es einfacher diese für zukünftige Projekte wieder zu nutzen. Ist dir eigentlich schon aufgefallen, dass das neue Reprint Papier farblich perfekt zu den Distress Markern von Tim Holtz passt? Meine Kombination für diese Karte ist aged mahogany, fired brick und black soot.

When I create cards I like to keep a record of the colors I used – that way it is easier to keep track of my color choices for future use. Die Basis ist Cardstock in dunkel rot, welches ich mit dem weihnachtlichen Papier Red Rhombs (RP0162) aus der Merry & Bright Kollektion kombiniert habe. Die Sterne sind aus goldenem Glitterpapier und mit 3D-Pads auf den Bändern befestigt und natürlich durften auch ein paar passenden Halbperlen nicht fehlen um das Bild abzurunden. Den wunderschönen Schriftzug nennt sich "OM780 E Alles libe zu" und du kannst alle Sachen - auch die Distress Marker - direkt über den Reprint Webshop beziehen.. Wie bereits erwähnt ist meine Kombination aged mahogany, fired brick und black soot.

The base is cardstock in dark red which I’ve combined him with the christmas paper Red Rhombs ( RP0162 ) from the Merry & Bright collection. The stars are made of golden glitter paper and fixed with 3D pads on top of the ribbons. I’ve also added a couple of matching pearls in order to complete the picture.The beautiful lettering is called “OM780 E Alles libe zu” and you can get all these great items as well as the Distress Markers at the Reprint webshop. As said before my combination is aged mahogany, fired brick and black soot.

Shiny ornaments

I Dalarna säger man "pumla", men "julgranskula" funkar väl också bra för att beskriva denna lilla godbit till stämpel. Här har jag stämplat den ett flertal gånger med en vattenfast stämpeldyna, och sedan färglagt lite slarvigt för att få en akvarellkänsla med vattenpensel och röda nyanser av distressdynor. Sist plockade jag upp lite röd färg och stänkte ut små droppar lite här och där.

This Christmas ornament is quite small and works well to stamp multiple times like on this card. I coloured them (and weren't that particular about it) using a water brush and Distress ink pads, to get a water colour style. I picked up a little of the left-over red ink and splattered it across the card.

När färgen torkat lade jag på ett lager Glossy accent och lite Stickles Gold i själva "pummelfästet" om ni förstår vad jag menar :) Jag använde en riktigt tunn svart penna för att rita trådar från varje pumla.

Once the ink was dried, I added a layer of Glossy accents and some Gold Stickles on the base of the ornaments. Using a thin liner, I added the strings to each ornament.

God Jul

Ett snabbt och enkelt kort fick det bli idag. Men inte desto mindre snyggt! De nya 6x6" pappren är så himla fina och passar så bra ihop, att man kan egentligen kombinera vilka man vill. Tillsammans med en bild från klipparken behövs nästan inget mer.

Today it had to be a quick and easy card. But nevertheless neat! The new 6x6 " papers are so very nice and fits so well together, that one can really combine what you want. Together with a picture from a cut-out sheet it´s almost done.

En inspiration från Ulrika är vimpeln med texten på, snyggt och effektfullt!

Blue snowflakes

Kolla in dessa vackert glittriga ljusblå snöflingor! Stämpeln är ny för i år och perfekt att embossa, som här med ett blått embossingpulver med glitter i. Visst, man får glitter mest överallt när man använder ett sånt här pulver - men det är det värt! Sen är det isblå så otroligt fint tillsammans med rött, som här på både textstämpel (även den är ny) och stjärnpapper.

Check out these sparkly, iceblue snowflakes! The stamp is new for the season and perfect to heat emboss, like I did here using a light blue embossingpowder with glitter. Sure, you will get glitter in unexpected places when using a powder like this, but I promise - it's worth it! And the light blue is so pretty together with red, like here in the text stamp (that's a new one as well) and in the starred paper.

Ni måste nästan prova själva för att se hur läckert det blir, det framgår inte riktigt på bilden. Men det glittrar, jag lovar! :)

I'm afraid the effect doesn't really show in the image, but I promise, it's VERY sparkly! :)

Using labels as decorations

Reprint brukar ha med ark med etiketter i sina papperskollektioner, så även denna säsong. Här har jag använt mig av två olika etiketter, den ena har jag använt i sin helhet och den andra har jag använt en del av, nämligen det söta lilla järneksträdet som jag klippt ut från en annan etikett. Ett enkelt sätt att dekorera sina julkort.

Reprint usually has a couple of sheets with labels for cutting out as part of their paper collections, and so they did again for this season. On this card I used two different labels, one that I used as it is and one where I fuzzy-cut out the holly tree and used it as decoration. This is a simple way of decorating your Christmas cards.

Här ser man trädet som jag klippt ut med en liten fin sax. Jag gnuggade lite försiktig på baksidan med nageln för att forma trädet lite, så att man får känslan av att det är runt. Texten är den översta raden i en jultextstämpel som jag stämplat och klippt ut, sedan täckt hela remsan med Distress stickles för en "vintage" look.

Here's the tree that I fuzzy-cut using a small pair of scissors. I gently rubbed the back of the tree using my finger nail, just to enhance the 3D-feeling. The sentiment is actually the very first line of a larger text stamp, I stamped this line only, cut it out and then added Distress stickles for that "vintage" look.

Julklappar

En rolig och enkel sak (som jag visat förut) man kan göra av spillpapper inför jul är små "paket". Klapparna kan ju ha vilken storlek och form som helst!
Här är några av de nya papperna från Reprints julkollektion, helt fantastiska! Jag har valt att sätta bitarna av mönstrat papper på en bit cardstock för att markera kanten tydligt. 3D-kuddar gör underverk för effekten. =)

A fun and easy thing (as I have shown before) to make of paper scraps are small "Christman gifts". The gifts can of course be of any size and shape!
Here are some of the new papers from Reprints Christmas collection, absolutely amazing! I have chosen to put the pieces of patterned paper on a piece of cardstock to highlight the edge. 3D foam pads do wonders for the effect. =)

Välj band eller snören att "slå in" klapparna med. Rosetten har klistrats dit i efterhand, det är mycket lättare att få det snyggt då.

Choose ribbons or strings of your choise to "wrap" the gifts with. The bow has been glued on afterwards, it is much easier to get a nice result.

Stickles makes a difference

Allt som gnistrar och glimmar ... på detta julkort har jag lagt till extra bling med klisterlim (Stickles). Ett annars så enkelt kort med Reprints nya julpapper och stämplar lyfts med lite glitter på de rätta ställena.

Everything that sparkles ... on this Christmas card I added a little extra bling with Stickles. So the otherwise pretty clean ad simple card with new seasonal paper and stamps from Reprint just got a bit more shiny and festive.

De två små hjärtana i textstämpeln har fått rött Stickles, Xmas Red, den röda stämpeln X-MAS har fått favoritsorten Star Dust som inte har någon egen färg utan förstärker färgen som finns under. Samma använde jag även längs kanterna på mönsterpappret.

The tiny hearts in the sentiment got a touch of red stickles (Xmas Red) and on the red stamp as well as along the edges of the patterned paper, I used my favorite Stickles, Star Dust. It really doesn't have any color but slightly enhances whatever color is underneath it.
