En motorcykel åt Pappa...

Snart farsdag...då får man lägga julstämplarna åt sidan en stund.

Tomorrow is father's day (at least here in Sweden)

Ett kort med bakgrund av Kraft Cardstock. Bigade linjer lite här och där på baksidan 

av cardstocken syns väldigt bra när man distressar framsidan med Distress Dyna.

Bilden kommer från ett av Reprints egna klippark och passar speciellt bra då den far

som får det här kortet äger en motorcykel av just det här märket.

The vintage picture (from one of Reprints own papers) is is perfect when the father who is receiving this card owns a motorcycle of this particular brand.

Några remsor av det brun/vit randiga A4 pappret ur Reprints Basic serie för

att ytterligare förstärka det randiga temat. Både bilden och remsan bakom är

fastknytna i öljetter med svart papperssnöre.

it is tied with black paper twine.

ATC "A white christmas"

I´ve made 6 ATC cards in my swap "ATC-cards", at Facebook.

The theme this month is "A white christmas with 

at least 3 pattern papers and a lace.

I pick together a kit from my stuff from Reprint, things I want

on my ATC cards. I don´t use everything, but almost. 

This ATC die from Tim Holtz is perfect to use for the shape.

An ATC card is a small card in 3,5x2,5 inch.

ATC cards are for swapping.

I used this "Festive Greenery" die and pick the "cone" and the "branch",

and use them in a different way. I make them to christmas trees.

This die is a Tim Holtz die too.

I cut out every paper, chalked them with gesso around the edges,

and put together. A piece of lace, a metal charm and the letters from

another Tim Holtz die. On the letters there are stickles, Star dust.

At the christmas tree I painted with white crackle paint as snow.

This ATC background is a stamp at Reprint as I´ve made. =)

If you want the correct way how to write at No/Edition/Serie,

you are not going to follow my way. I write at a little bit

different way...

Merry Christmas

With the new Basic papers and a vintage picture from the cut-out sheets it´s easy to get that Christmas spirit. I used one of the stamps from a clearstamp set and the flowers are also new for this season:

I do appologize for the somewhat blurry image, but I took it with my cellphone...

Julafton än 49 dagar bort...

Som den julnörd jag är, så har jag givetvis laddat hem en app till min mobil, som visar precis hur många dagar det är kvar till julafton.
Och idag kan jag meddela att det är 49 dagar kvar till den rödklädde mannen kommer på besök.
Innan dess så måste julkorten vara klara, och här har jag kommit ett kort närmare att vara klar...

Reprints fina papper i A4 har kommit till användning igen.
Till det, en av deras superfina stämplar, med texten till en av mina absoluta favoritjulsånger :)
Bing Crosby och sången "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas".

En av de fina blommor som kommit in i sortimentet samt ett vitt blad som chalkats brunt...

Och insidan.
Enkelt med vit cardstock och bara en liten kant av det mönstrade papperet som skymtar fram.

Allt som använts på kortet finns hos Reprint, utom dien som jag använt till hörnen...

Autumn colours

I mina hemtrakter i Värmland har vi fortfarande höst. Det är faktiskt ovanligt varmt och vi väntar på morgonfrosten som aldrig kommer men passar på att njuta av vackra höstpromenader och lövhögar att sparka i. Höstfärgerna på Reprints papper är härliga, och matchar fint till det grårandiga pappret från deras Basic Collection.

Where I live, we still have autumn. It is actually unusually warm still and we are waiting for the morning frost that never comes. But we seize the moment and enjoy nice long walks and heaps of leafs that just can't be bypassed but has to be walked right through. The autumn colours in Reprint's paper are wonderful, and they match perfectly with the greystriped paper from their Basic Collection.

Textstämpeln är embossad med guld. En av de nya blommorna och ett par löv räcker som dekoration.

The sentiment is embossed with gold embossing powder. One of the new flowers a couple of leafs are all it takes for decorations.

En tag i brunt och grönt...

En tag i Kraft Cardstock, distressad runt kanterna med Vintage Photo. Mönstret stämplat med samma Distress dyna med en av bakgrundsstämplarna ur Reprints eget stämpelset Backgronds,
