Zuerst möchte ich heute einmal unsrer lieben Ulrika danken, dass sie die Sprachauswahl in diesem blog von schwedisch auf englisch geändert hat und es für uns viel einfacher ist zu verstehen welche Knöpfe wir drücken sollten - und welche besser nicht. Danke, Ulrika!

First of all I want to thank our lovely Ulrika today for changing the language in this blog from swedish to english. This makes it so much easier for us to figure out which buttons we should push and which ones we should rather keep our hands - or mouse - off. Thank you, Ulrika!

Wir sind morgen zu einer Feier eingeladen und wollten ein Geschenk für die Gastgeber besorgen. Gar nicht so einfach, wo doch die Geschäfte momentan voll mit Weihnachtsdekoration sind und irgendwie erinnert mich mein Bankkonto immer ganz leise daran die Ruhe zu bewahren, wenn ich spontane Geschenkideen für Freunde habe. Am Ende haben wir ganz "klassisch" Spirituosen für ihn und etwas Schoki und Make-up für sie gekauft.

We're invited to a party tomorrow and needed a gift for the hosts. Not THAT easy keeping in mind that the stores in town are packed with christmas decoration these days and somehow my bank account always quietly reminds me to calm down whenever I start feeling spontaneous when it comes to gifts for friends. We ended up getting "classic" licquor for him and some chocolate and make-up for her.

Während ich mir Gedanken gemacht habe, wie man das Geschenk schön verpacken könnte, stolperte ich über meine liebsten Bastelschätze von Reprint and habe Geschenkanhänger gebastelt. Zuerst dachte ich an rosa/rot für die Dame und blau/grün für den Herrn, aber die blaue Version hat mir dann einfach besser gefallen und so bekommen nun beide die gleichen Anhänger.

Thinking about how to wrap the gifts, I stopped by my favorite crafting items from Reprint and created some gift tags. At first I was thinking of rose/red for the lady and blue/green for the gentleman, but ended up liking the blue version better. So bought will get the same tags now.

Ich weiss, dass alle jetzt auf Schleichwerbung für unsere bevorzugte Getränkewahl hoffen... Ich werde die Flasche nicht zeigen, aber vielleicht kommst du ja auch so drauf. Wir haben den schwarzen Partybecher mit einem Rührstab kombiniert und alles in durchsichtiger Folie eingepackt. Noch ein paar Palietten und Schneeflocken drüber streuen - fertig. 

I know that everyone' waiting for surreptitious advertising for our spirit of choice now... I won't show the bottle, but you might be able to find out anyway. We've combined the black party cup with a whisk and wrapped it in transparent film. Scattered a few sequins and snowflakes on top - done.

Hanging stars

Något man kan vika är dessa stjärnor. Den lilla stjärnan är gjord av  4st 10x10cm bitar, den stora av 4st 15x15cm. Det är lite pilligt i början, men sedan flyter det bara på. =)
I mitten av stjärnorna sitter det blommor i passande färg för att gömma hålet som blir. Pärlorna kommer från pins som Reprint har. De har jag "slaktat" och trätt pärlorna på en tråd.

Something you can fold are these stars. The little star is made of 4 pcs 10x10cm pieces, the large of 4st 15x15cm. It´s a little difficult at first, but then you can go with the flow. =)
In the middle of the stars is flowers in a matching color to hide the hole .The beads come from pins in Reprints assortment. I have "butchered" a few and put the beads on a thread.

Jingle Bell

En av Reprints nya julstämplar är denna fina klocka. Den är stämplad med en ljus blå nyans och sedan embossad med Hologram Sparkle för att få den att glittra utan att dölja stämpelfärgen. Med en tunn svart penna har jag ritat konturen runt klockan. En liten rosett i silver sätter pricken över i:et.

One of Reprints new Christmas stamps this nice bell. It is stamped with a light blue color and then embossed with Hologram Sparkle to get the sparkle without hiding the stamp color. With a thin black pencil, I drew the outline around the bell. A small bow in silver makes it complete.

Star card

Dagens projekt är ett kort utklippt som en stjärna. Det mönstrade pappret är "fastsytt" runt kanten med en tunn svart penna. Ett orgazaband runt midjan på stjärnan klär upp det hela.

Today's project is a card cut out like a star. The patterned paper is "sewn" around the edge with a thin black pencil. An orgaza ribbon around the waist of the star dress it up.

Bokstäverna är självhäftande och biljettremsan är från de nya klipparken - sååå fina!

The letters are self adhesive and the ticket strip are from the new cutting sheets - sooo nice!

Die Stempel von Reprint stamps sind einfach klasse, aber noch besser gefallen mir die wunderschönen Papiere. Sie haben schlichte Designs und Farben, welche einfach zu jedem Anlass passen. Daher nutze ich ab und an einfach nur das Papier für meine Projekte.

I really like the Reprint stamps, but I'm in love with the beautiful paper. You get clean designs and matching colors which just work for every occasion. That's why I like to use the paper on its own every now and then.

Heute zeige ich euch ein kleines digitales Projekt, welches ich für eine Freundin entworfen habe. Die Idee war wie größten Liebespaare der Geschichte aufzulisten - inklusiv ihr und ihrem Mann, weil die beiden einfach ein wunderbaren Paar und liebevolle Eltern sind.

Today I'm showing you a little digital project which I've created for a friend of mine. The idea is to show the greates love couples in history - including her and her husband as they are such a cute couple and loving parents.

Den Entwurf habe ich am Computer erstellt und mit einem Laserdrucker gedruckt. Im Hintergrund ist das wunderschöne Papier "Light Pink Medallions" zu sehen. Das Herz ist ebenfalls aus dem Papier geschnitten und steht dank 3D pad etwas vor. Das fertige Projekt wird einfach in einem hübsches Bilderrahmen fixiert und schon hat man ein individuelles Geschenk - perfekt zu Weihnachten, Geburtstag oder als Mitbringsel.

I've designed the layout on my computer and printed it with a laser printer. You can see the beautiful "Light Pink medallions" paper in the background. The heart is also made of this paper and has a 3D-pad attached to it. Just fix the project in a photo frame and you have a very individual gift - perfect for christmas, birthday or give-away.

Denna söta julgransstämpel är ny för i år och här har jag använt lite guld-stickles på stjärnan i toppen. Kortet är byggt i lager på lager med hjälp av 3D kuddar för att få lite djup.

This sweet stamp with the Christmas tree is new for the season and I added some gold stickles for the star in the top. The card is built in layers using foam squares to get some depth.

Lite bling måste man ju ha till jul! Några limefärgade rhinestones lyfter fram det gröna från det chevron-mönstrade pappret.

There's always room for some bling! I added a few lime green rhinestones that pick up the green in the chevron-patterned paper.
