Time for another birthday

A relative of ours just had her birthday and of course I had to make a card for her! Although it just snowed again in these parts of the country we have feelings of spring in the air so I wanted that to reflect a bit in the card with flowers and butterflies.

It wasn't hard to get that spring vintage feeling with the new papers from Reprint. On the inside you can see one of the new stamps too - this one say´s " A big Happy Birthday to you" in Swedish. If you look closely you can see that I "revived" the brads - such an easy way actually to just give that little extra.

When you´re doing a birthday card for a man you would probably like something more sassy than your traditional motives and I think the new pinup girls is just perfect for this!

So here´s a card with a lot of new goodies for this spring that isn´t in the store yet so consider this to be a little sneak peak:

Hoping for a Merry Christmas

Hello there!

Time for another Christmas card that was showed on the Formex Fair this fall. I decided to go for some classic Christmas colors - green and red:

I made a tear to make that sweet heart paper to peek out underneath. The Christmas stamps is heat embossed with black embossing powder. I also distressed all the paper edges to give that worn impression.

• Flowers: Red felt flowers and red paper flower (coming soon to the shop)
• Half pearls
• Vintage postcards 
• Tree charm, burlap ribbbon and heart ribbon
